Victorian Era - Performing most of the day will be the 46th PA REGIMENT BAND (Logan Guard) formed in December 1995 by a group of musicians from the Altoona area. The bands desire is to honor the Logan Guard Militia from Lewistown, the 46th PA Volunteer Regiment, and the musicians from Birdsboro Community Band who enlisted together and maintained the morale of the troops with their music throughout the war.
The Civil War Era Lady's Tea Party The Col. James Crowther Camp #89 Auxiliary will host a civil war era lady's tea during this year's Mayfest celebration. The tea will be held in St. John's Episcopal Church's undercroft beginning at 3 p.m. on April 30, 2011. Seating is limited to 40 people. Tickets will be available at the Col. James Crowther Sons of Union Verterans of the Civil War's booth in the Victorian era section of Mayfest. Ms. Anne Wishard, owner of the Sweet Annie's Herbs will speak to the gathering. Donations to support the Auxiliary's ongoing military service personnel and veterans projects will be accepted at the door.

50's Block – Dan & Galla will perform 50's tunes and host fun contests like bubble gum blowing, hula hoop, and pie eating! Don't miss the COSTUME CONTEST!
Colonial Times – The Horseshoe Cloggers a non-profit, hand clapping, foot tapping, high energy dance group. Also on this block, Blair County Wildlife Rehabilitation will have exotic animals with interactive seminars throughout the day. Photo opportunities with a red-tailed boa snake! Stomp your feet at our Hootenany with the best fiddle, banjo and guitar pickers from our area!
Renaissance Faire – Ancient Echos perform Celtic Music & English County Dance group wears period costumes and interacts with the audience. The group includes Holly Foy who began playing guitar at age 11 and took up the hammered dulcimer in her late 20's. She plays guitar, Irish skin drum (bodhran) and hammered dulcimer. Also performing will be Lisa McDivitt playing the recorder, harp and Irish floor harp. She has been a member of the SCA (Society of Creative Anachronism) for over 25 years and spends a week each summer at Pennsic, the largest Renaissance gathering in the world.
Knighting Ceremony – Kids can become knighted by the Queen for doing a good deed. Parents can nominate their children for knighting. Times to be announced.

Callanish – a Celtic band based in central Pennsylvania, plays Irish and Scottish music in the traditional style. Their repertoire includes lively jigs and reels, haunting airs, and rollicking songs from Ireland, Scotland, and elsewhere in the British Isles. The band regularly plays at festivals and concert series, as well as at weddings and parties.
Woodstock Era
Burnt Cabins Band - plays a choice selection of classic rock, blues, and country. Come experience it! BCB is Al Bills on guitar, Dan Cook-Huffman on keyboard, Phil Dunwoody on bass, Jon Guyer on guitar, and Chris Paret on drums. Red Bud Quilt Guild Show & Sale will be held in the Huntingdon Community Center, located on the corner of 5th and Mifflin Streets. Hours are: Friday from 9am - 7pm and Saturday from 9am - 4pm. More info
Standing Stone Art League Show and Sale Open Friday and Saturday from 10 to 5 pm and Sunday 2 to 4 pm. Held at the Huntingdon County Historical Society Gallery, 4th and Penn Street. More info.
Huntingdon Arts Council is having a Spring Thaw which is a Youth Art and Writing Exhibition that will display at their new building on 4th street, just off Washington St.
Conestoga Wagon Rides - Purchase a Mayfest button to ride on a real Conestoga Wagon from Dayze Gone Bye Carriage Rides. Several pick up locations.
Outhouse Races - at Washington and 3rd street. Watch a zainy outhouse race to benefit Relay for Life/ Cancer Society.
COSTUME CONTEST - near 613 Washington – Anyone in a costume can participate! Awards in many categories including most historically period correct and funniest.



Blair County Wildlife Rehabilitation Center - Have you ever thought of being a foster parent to a squirrel, a turtle, an owl, a hawk, or even a baby fawn? The Blair County Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is offering animal lovers the opportunity to support the numerous wildlife that are permanent members or visitors to our Center.
By sponsoring a species of wildlife, you will be helping in the feeding, the caring, and housing of the animal. The fostering program would be a great gift for that someone who has just about everything.
